Nottinghamshire is the place to enjoy the best of sport.  The world class facilities of Trent Bridge cricket ground have seen Test match cricket played here for over 100 years. Jerico Farm b&b is only 15 minutes from Trent Bridge.

Visit Holme Pierrepont

Holme Pierrepont is the home of the National Water Sports Centre where you can row, canoe, do white water rafting, or windsurf. Jerico is located only 10 minutes from Holme Pierrepont.

The Nottingham Tennis Centre (near Nottingham University) plays host to many international tournaments and currently hosts the prestigious Nottingham Masters. We are only 20 minutes from Nottingham Tennis Centre.

Nottingham’s National Ice Centre and Nottingham Trent FM Arena are also 20 minutes away in Nottingham city centre.

Jerico Farm b&b is only a short distance from the towns of Bingham, Melton Mowbray, Southwell with the spectacular Southwell Minster, Newark and Loughborough, Oakham with its unusual castle. Cycle or bird watch at Rutland Water and visit nearby Grantham.

Melton is famous for its Melton Mowbray pork pie and stilton cheese.  We are situated on the edge of The Vale of Belvoir and are within a short distance of three important cheese making dairies at Long Clawson, Colston Bassett and Cropwell Bishop. Long Clawson Dairy is a farmers’ co-operative and makes a wide range of delicious cheeses as well as Stilton cheese.

Newark, boasts a historic castle and thriving market, and is also the site for the biggest antique fair in Europe. Newark Antiques Fair is held six times a year on Newark Showground.

Jerico is also near to Langar Airfield site of Langar Karting and Quad Centre. One of the largest most modern indoor karting circuits in the UK.

Jerico Farm bed and breakfast is located only three miles from BGS, The British Geological Survey, which has its headquarters at Keyworth, Geologists from all over the world visit to use their prestigious facilities
